Sharebuilder DRIP Purchases

Catch-up post from buy's that went through on Tuesday 3/5.  Dow closed at 14,254.
  • $500 of TEVA at $37.81. Yield 2.64%. 
  • $440 of AAPL at $431.41. Yield 2.46%.  
  • $310 of RDS.A at $66.61. Yield 5.40%.  
  • $250 of BBL at $63.80. Yield 3.57%.

Total purchases of $1500 adding $49.72 to my annual dividend income.

  1. Nice buys AA. Just wondering why you're purchasing both RDS.a and RDS.b? I think there is a dividend withholding tax on RDS.a but none on RDS.b. For this reason, I was looking at purchasing B shares only. Thanks.

    Thanks for stopping by. There is no tax withholding if you auto reinvest the RDS.A dividends (which I do).

    If you take the A shares dividends as cash, you pay the withholding tax.

    Since I DRIP them, I started buying the A shares (they are cheaper and pay the same dividend as the B shares).
