  • KMR 2.3% raise. +$14.67 annual income.

  • GS 10% raise. +$6.23 annual income.

All together, annualized dividend income increased by $266 from last months total of  $10,915 to $11,181. This means my dividend stocks will pay $11,181 n dividends over the next 12 months.

Other

  • Lending Club interest received: $205.18
  • Bank interest received: $48.56

Total passive income: $805.58

Note: Another good month for dividend increases with a total of 5 for the month.

The forward 12 month dividend income I will get  from the dividend increases ($135), was actually more then the forward income I will get from the $3100 in new capital added in the month ($131).  That's pretty cool and may be the first time I have done that.

This months passive income total is a 14% increase over April's number.

How close do you think you are to financial independence?

  3. I can see that you are reinvesting income from the Kinder Morgan pipeline companies, won’t you get a much higher after tax yield with Kmr?

  4. DM,

    Thanks for stopping by!

I still have a ways to go (high expenses)but would like to exit the corporate world in the next 5-6 years and then work on my own terms.

Keep up the great work yourself and im sure you will be at FI way before me!

  5. Martin,

Thanks for the kind words. That is a pic of the Perito Moreno glacier from a trip I took to South American a few years ago.

Id like like to go back in the next couple years.

    take care,

  6. Sumflow,

Yes, I actually own more KMR then KMI and do like the higher yield and tax deferred nature of KMR.

I like the hopefully faster dividend growth of KMI so own both.

    cheers,
    AA

  7. Greetings,

Thanks for sharing your detailed purchase/holding.

I'm a curious newbie. When you mention you purchase DRIP via ShareBuilder, how does that work? I thought you physically has to own the first share of such company first to be able to participate in the DRIP plan? Can you shed some light on this?

    Thanks so much

  8. Anon,

These purchases are made through a plan with Sharebuilder.com where I get 12 orders each month for $12. The caveat is that the purchases go through on Tuesdays of every month. Before each Tuesday, I decide how much I will invest and in which companies.

    Thanks for stopping by!
