  1. MCD and AFL are my fav from your recent purchases. Both are in my long term portfolio and have been with me since 2007. In general, I'm partial to the financial sector these days. I have added some solid Canadian banks this month, TD, BNS and RY. I have been adding to my AFL, CB and WFC positions as well. Thanks for sharing.

  2. CVX is a solid company. Picked up 10 shares back when they were at $117. I am looking at MCD and V as well. Not sure yet which one I want to add to my portfolio first though. Thanks for sharing!

    Thanks, Sam

  4. DivHut, I obviously think AFL and MCD offer good value here. I am light financials but do like and follow WFC. Ive just never pulled the trigger.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  5. Sam, you got a nice entry point on CVX. Good job. I am slowly building my position in V and waiting for a drop to be a little more aggressive in the purchases.

    Take care, AA

  6. Evan, yup, I would like to bring CVX up to full position in my portfolio. I think it offers good value here even though its close to it's 52 week high as we speak.

    cheers, AA
