  1. Nice DEO pick up. It has been in my portfolio for many, many years and I plan to keep it for the long haul. I haven't added to that position in quite a while. I'd like the PE to come down a bit on it first. Thanks for sharing your recent buys.

  2. Reviewing your portfolio, you have a very nice cost basis on DEO. My aim is to bring DEO up to full posiiton and will be more aggressive the lower it goes. This month's DEO purchases are a toe hold if you will.

Thanks for stopping by and very nice portfolio you have there!

  3. Good pick-ups AA! I don't own either, but have partaken in one or two of the products of DEO! Both are solid companies and ones I'll consider down the toga as I build my portfolio.

  5. Nice purchases. I am also a shareholder of DEO and hope to add more one day. They are down YTD, so it may be a great time to re-up a position.

    Keep up the great work!

  6. Have DEO in my investment club. It seems like such a sure pick up. They may own 92% of what the world drinks!

  7. I really like the buys. I have been adding BBL myself and DEO is on my list to add to my portfolio at some point. They have a decent starting yield and dividend growth, plus the international exposure is great.

  8. Bert, I am with you and would like to eventually bring DEO up to full postion. I think its decent at 3% initial yield.

    Thanks for stopping by!

  10. AAI, BBL is at about 5% initial yield as I type this after todays down day. I think this may be the highest initial yield it has ever had. I will most likely add more next week.

I know you are long TGT and had some good news yesterday. Like you, I have had good sucess buying good companies that are temporarily out of favor like we are seeing the energy now.

    cheers, AA
