INTC dividend increase
In a bit of a surprise, today, Intel announced that it is raising it's quarterly dividend from $.225 to $.24.
This represents a 6.6% raise and is the first raise since May 2012 when the quarterly dividend went from $.21 to $.225.
Since I own 707 shares, this will increase my annual go-forward dividends by $42.42.

FAF raises dividend 100%
Yes, that is not a typo.
First American Financial (FAF) announced earlier this week a dividend increase of 100% from $.48 to $.96.
FAF is one of the largest title companies in the US and also provides property data and risk solutions to banks, lenders, and the real estate industry.
I have been a long time shareholder (10 plus years) and this investment has been nothing short of outstanding. I have sold shares over the years to help buy 2 cars and a wedding ring.
Since I currently own 545 shares, this will increase for annualized dividend income by $262. Needless to say, this is the largest dividend increase I have ever received in terms of percentage and go forward dividend income.

GE Raises Dividend 16%
I have been waiting for this one all month and GE did not fail to disappoint. Ive been a long term shareholder and went through the dark days of of 2008-2009 including the dividend cut.
Since then, GE has increased its dividend 6 times- from 10 cents to .12 (GE raises dividend 20%) to .14 to .15 to .17 to .19 and now to 22 cents.
This will be my final dividend increase of the year and adding $107 to my annual dividend income.

Terrible week but finally some good news

Worst week in the market in 3 years ended on a bit of a high note.
Market had first winning day this week gaining 38 points to close at 10,771 but the real good news was delivered by Lockheed Martin.
Lockheed announced a 33% dividend increase from $.75 quarterly to $1.00.
This increase has LMT now yielding 5.55% (based on today's close of $72.09) and more importanetly will pay me an additional $88.51 over the next 12 months.
I will continue to DCA into LMT below $75.
This has been a very good month for dividend increases with LMT, VZ, and PM all increasing dividends. All told, I will receive an extra $137.32 for the next 12 months from these 3 stocks.
In other news, PM's got hammered today.
Gold was down $102 (-5.85%) to close at $1640.
Silver got punished big time and was down almost 18% (-$6.47) to close at $30.10.
I have my eye to pick up some more bullion on this dip and perhaps initiate a position in CEF. CEF was down 9% to close at $21.21.
