We have had a little rally over the past week.  Market was up 79 points to close at 13,248.

Today's buys:

• $250 of EXC at $30.05. Yield 6.99%.  I am currently down about 20% on my EXC position and I do think there is a good chance for a divided cut next year.  With that said, I do think it is over sold.  I am not going to aggressively add to this position but do think it offers value in the $30 and below price range.  Of course I could be catching a falling knife.
  

• $200 of INTC at $20.59. Yield 4.37%.

• $200 of RDS.B at $70.33. Yield 4.89%.  

• $200 of KMI at $33.35. Yield 4.32%.

Total purchases of $850 adding $44.63 to my annual dividend income.

Quick thought..my gym membership is $30 per month.  Today's purchase will buy one month of my gym membership for the rest of my life.

• EMR 2.5% raise. +$2.89 annual income. 

All together, annualized dividend income increased by $376 from last months total of $8,321 to $8,697. This means my dividend stocks will pay $8,605 in dividends over the next 12 months.

Buy: INTC

I have been patiently waiting for Intel to drop below $20 all month.

I could not pass up adding today as the stock opened up 3.5% lower on the retirement of the CEO.

Pulled the trigger on 200 shares at $19.63 for an initial yield of 4.58%.

Did I catch the bottom?  Most likely not. 

However, I am happy collecting a 4% plus yield on a premium blue chip that I believe will right the ship despite the fears of slowed growth in the PC market and lack of market share in the mobile chip market.

This latest Intel purchase will provide me an additional $180 in annual dividend income.

We have had a small correction since Obama was re-elected last week as attention has focused to the fiscal cliff and the realty of another 4 years of Obama.  With that said, some stocks are starting to look attractive again.  Among my favorites, McDonalds and Intel are both sitting at 52 week lows.  Intel is looking especially attractive sitting at $20.28 and a 4.4% yield.

Exelon (EXC) is also sitting at a 52 week low ($29.94..7% yield) and has been pummeled over the last week after the CEO announced a possible dividend cut sometime in 2013.  I believe it is oversold here and may average down.

Today's buys went through on another down day and was off 59 points to close at 12,756.

• $400 of MCD at $85.26. Yield 3.61%.

• $200 of PM at $85.25. Yield 3.99%.    

• $200 of MO at $31.53. Yield 5.58%.  

• $200 of KMI at $32.75. Yield 4.40%.

Total purchases of $1000 adding $42.40 to my annual dividend income.
