This weeks purchases 3/24 (Dow 18,011):

• $200 of CAT at $80.61. Yield 3.47%

• $200 of EMR at $56.90. Yield 3.30%.

$400 of new capital invested and adding $13.56 to my annual dividend income.

Note: On radar for next week: PM, DEO, CVX.

This weeks purchases 3/17 (Dow 17,849):

• $300 of CVX at $102.56. Yield 4.17%

• $300 of RDS.B at $61.08. Yield 6.16%.

• $250 of BP at $37.61. Yield 6.38%.

• $300 of PM at $77.83. Yield 5.14%.

$1150 of new capital invested and adding $62.36 to my annual dividend income.

Note: Continue to nibble on high yielding integrated major energy names along with PM.  I cant help myself w/ PM over 5%! 

On radar for next week- more of the unwanted and unloved: same as above, CAT, BBL

Reporting my weekly buys that went through yesterday.  We have had a bit of a sell-off over the last week and this weeks buys went through on an especially good day- market got pounded and was down 333 points.

This weeks purchases 3/10 (Dow 17,633):

• $250 of BP at $39.50. Yield 6.08%

• $250 of RDS.B at $62.74. Yield 5.99%.

• $250 of DEO at $113.35. Yield 3.05%.

$750of new capital invested and adding $37.80 to my annual dividend income.

Note: Lot of names appearing attractive as I look over my watch list.  On radar for next week: PM, CAT, BBL, BP, RDS.B, DEO, ABBV.

Reporting my weekly buys that went through today.

Market was down 83 points but we are still close to record territory.

This weeks purchases 3/3 (Dow 18,203):

• $175 of CVX at $105.25. Yield 4.07%

• $175 of CAT at $83.31. Yield 3.36%. 

• $150 of PM at $82.76. Yield 4.83%.

$500 of new capital invested and adding $20.25 to my annual dividend income.

Note: Been a little light on the purchases the last few weeks. I have been adding to CVX the past 2 weeks.  Just nibbling.  Will continue to do so as long as yield is above 4%. May look to add to BP, RDS.B next week as well. I am full position PM but I find it hard not to buy more when it is yielding almost 5%.
