Another catch-up post.  Reporting my buys that have gone through over the past few weeks.

7/14 (Dow 18,054):
  • $250 of CVX at $95.64. Yield 4.48% 
  • $250 of EMR at $54.12. Yield 3.47%. 
$500 of new capital invested and adding $19.88 to my annual dividend income.

7/21 (Dow 17,919):
  • $300 of CVX at $93.99. Yield 4.55% 
  • $250 of EMR at $52.07. Yield 3.61%.
  • $250 of CAT at $82.25. Yield 3.73%
$800 of new capital invested and adding $32.05 to my annual dividend income.

7/28 (Dow 17,630):
  • $300 of CVX at $91.37. Yield 4.68% 
  • $300 of BBL at  $35.85. Yield 6.92%.
  • $250 of CAT at $77.36. Yield 3.98%.
  • $250 of BP at $36.85. Yield 6.51%.
 $1100 of new capital invested and adding $61.04 to my annual dividend income.

Note: Yields are getting stupid and new guests are joining the party..hello KMI!

On radar for next week: same names as above, RDS, DEO.  Big bucks, big bucks big bucks! No whammies!!

Reporting my weekly buys that went through on Tuesday.

This weeks purchases 7/7 (Dow 17,777):
  • $250 of CVX at $93.57. Yield 4.57% 
  • $250 of BBL at $36.76. Yield 6.75% 
  • $250 of RDS.B at $54.68. Yield 6.88%
 $750 of new capital invested and adding $45.70 to my annual dividend income.

Note: It's a raise to 7%!  Who will win..RDS or BBL?  Place your bets!

  • $400 of RDS.B at $58.20. Yield 6.46%. 
  • $200 of PG at $78.25. Yield 3.39%
$1000 of new capital invested and adding $49.58 to my annual dividend income.

6/16 (Dow 17,904):
  • $300 of CVX at $98.97. Yield 4.32% 
  • $400 of RDS.B at $58.87. Yield 6.39%.
  • $200 of JNJ at $98.04. Yield 3.06%
$700 of new capital invested and adding $31.86 to my annual dividend income. 

6/23 (Dow 18,144):
  • $300 of CVX at $99.76. Yield 4.29% 
$300 of new capital invested and adding $12.87 to my annual dividend income.

6/30 (Dow 17,620):
  • $300 of CVX at $96.75. Yield 4.42% 
  • $20\0 of BBL at $39.67. Yield 6.25%
 $500 of new capital invested and adding $25.77 to my annual dividend income.

Note: In the house of pain with my energy holdings but will keep adding.  CVX at 4.5%, BBL and RDS well over 6%...  It's a race to 7% with these two and I will keep buying!  Bring on more pain and more snow to the income snowball!
