Big rally today in the market as it closed up 244 points to close at 13,292- the highest point since December 2007!
For better or worse, I stayed fully invested throughout the turmoil and the subsequent recovery and my net worth is 3x higher now then it was in December 2007.
Looking back, it makes me realize that one of the most important traits of a successful investor is guts. Be willing shake off gut wrenching paper losses without selling and have the balls to buy more when the market is a complete train wreck.
