My weekly buys went through last week on 4/23 (Dow 14,719) and today (Dow 14,840).  

4/23 Purchases:

• $500 of BBL at $54.23. Yield 4.20%.

• $500 of CAT at $84.04. Yield 2.48%.  

$1000 of new capital invested adding $33.40 to my annual dividend income.


Today's Purchases:

• $400 of BBL at $55.64. Yield 4.10%.

• $400 of CAT at $84.28. Yield 2.47%. 

 $800 of new capital invested adding $26.26 to my annual dividend income.

Wild 2 days in the market.  Was down 266 points yesterday for biggest loss of year. Today it bounced back with a 158 point gain  to close at 14,757.  Gold and silver got pounded yesterday and were down almost 10% each.  Silver sits at $23.58 and gold $1377.

March is always one of my favorite months of the year.  The weather starts getting nicer, an extra hour of daylight, March Madness, baseball season about to start, and my semi-annual dividend payments hit!  Finished with my largest month ever as I broke the $1300 mark.

All together, annualized dividend income increased by $233 from last months total of $9,225 to $9,457. This means my dividend stocks will pay $9,457 in dividends over the next 12 months.
