  1. AA,

Nice purchases. I have been considering using sharebuilder in the future. I really like the idea of making regular purchases among more companies. I'm not really sure how to get started. I currently buy shares through my branch bank. Their commision fees are pretty high. Should I open a Cap one account and then link sharebuilder to that account? Also can you transfer your dividends into your branch account with relative ease?

Thanks in advance for the input.

  2. Hi My Dividend Pipeline,

I am enrolled in the Sharebuilder premium program which allows for 12 buys a month for $12. The buys go through mid-day on Tuesdays. I log into my account each Monday and pick what stocks and what $ I want to go through on Tuesday. I have been using the service for over 3 years and have been very satisfied. I link the Sharebuilder account to my checking account (not Cap One)and the funds are auto deducted on Tuesday for the purchases. I reinvest all dividends and there is no charge for that.

Hope that clarifies and thanks for stopping by!

  3. It's nice service, but I do not like the limit and only-Tuesday-trading.

Do you have to make those 12 purchases or is it up to 12 purchases a month? So you can only make three for example?

  4. Hi Martin,

The Sharebuilder premium program I am enrolled in is $12 for 12 purchases per month. Its use 'em or lose 'em. You can make 3 in a month, but you would still be charged $12.

Even though you are limited to Tues only trading, I still have found it a great way to build a solid, diversified portfolio.

    cheers!
