I am a bit confused. Is DRIP a dividend reinvesting program? If so, is your $500 investment into RDS.A a dividend reinvesting or your added contribution?
In February 12 you invested $250 into the stock and in February 20 you already invested $500, are those dividends?
These purchases are added contributions through a plan with Sharebuilder.com where I get 12 orders each month for $12. Each additional purchase is $1. The cavaet is that the purchases go through on Tuesdays of every month. Before each Tuesday, I decide how much I will invest and in which companies.
